It’s ready to harvest, but will have to be done carefully, else I break off the stalk leading to several other developing fruit.
This happens all the time in business. We jump on the first big, juicy opportunity and focus on getting it closed so much that we neglect the other opportunities coming in after it.
It may even be choking them.
As previously mentioned, the goal is not the first fruits, it’s continued productivity.
If a deal is becoming so difficult that it’s putting everything else in danger, it may be best just to cut it out.
